Quartz glass filter discs
Heraeus quartz glass filter discs are available in various porosities and dimensions. Filtering is determined by the pore size distribution which is classified and tested according to an ISO standard. Currently, six different porosity types are offered from extra course to extra fine allowing precise adjustment to the particles to be retained during filtration. Standard disc sizes ranging from 10 mm to 120 mm outer diameter and thicknesses between 2.5 mm and 8 mm are available for almost all porosity types. Large rectangular plates with coarse porosity are complementing the product portfolio.
